We have a wide range and spectrum of Outreach Ministries here at KFGT. We believe love can be practical in appearance, and we want to do our best in showing God's love to our 'around the block', 'around the city' as well as our 'around the world' community. We have many neighborhood ministries, and we support ministries that show love to the City of Kamloops, as well as to our Global Community.
 

                                                
The main focus of Funtastic Fridays is to be the arms of Jesus to the Children in our community. We always provide a free meal, themed activities, and a faith building message to every child who passes through our doors. Kids aged Kindergarten to Grade 4 are invited to Jr. Funtastic Friday which takes place on the last Friday of the month. Funtastic Youth an afterschool program for tweens Grades 5 -7 and takes place on first & third Friday of the month.
 
 
The Golden Heirs Luncheon is a great time of food and fellowship for Seniors in and around our community and takes place on the last Wednesday of the month.
 

 

Soup & Sandwich

Each Sunday morning we fellowship over coffee before the service and once a month we fellowship over Soup & Sandwich right after the morning service. 

 

 

Every Christmas we encourage our members to invite friends, family and anyone they have on their heart to invite, to our Christmas Banquet. Tickets are free, and include an amazing Christmas Dinner as well as a Christmas Presentation after the meal.

Elsie Welch - International Missionary

We are so proud to be Elsie Welch's home Church. Elsie Welch is a passionate person with the zeal and call of a revivalist. She loves to exhort the whole body to come into their full destiny in God. God has used her extensively in evangelism, revival and deliverance ministry in Canada as well as in many nations of the world. There is a reason that some have dubbed her Warrior Chick!

She is a veteran minister who was saved at the age of eleven and called to missions. After ministering in Mexico for eleven years and in Estonia for seven, God has been opening doors to the whole world. Being drawn to the "dark hidden places", her travels have taken her to different parts of S E Asia, Central Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America.

The cry on her heart is "Here I am Lord! Send me!"

 Les & Rita Peters -

Impact Ministries, Guatemala

Les & Rita Peters have now lived in Guatemala for the past 8 years. They have a deep heart for the Guatemalan people. They run an organization called Impact Ministries, which takes kids that normally have no opportunity to receive training and education, and raises them up to be strong leaders in the kingdom of God. They do this through a Child Sponsorship Program, where through sponsorship each child receives: Christian discipleship and training in God's Word, A broad academic education, Individual care and councelling, Medical care and dental care and daily nutritious snacks and vitamins.  Please click on the Impact Ministries logo below for more information about Child Sponsorship.

                Wycliffe Bible Translators

David & Neva first became involved in missions in 1990 when they volunteered with Wycliffe Bible Translators. That experience led them to full time membership and service in two overseas assignments as support personnel. Along the way came Erin, Chris & Aven who enjoyed growing up in different locations and cultures. When not on the field they lived in Kamloops and attended KFGT and eventually the associated Cornerstone Community Church. Due to extended family responsibilities they are now living in Bridesville, BC and working with Global PartnerLink, a partner organization with Wycliffe. Their role is direct funds and resources to national translators who are translating the Word of God into their own language and David's responsibilities include traveling to the project locations in South East Asia. Lindsay & Shelley Hodges - LifeFORCE

We enjoy being able to support Lindsay & Shelley Hodges. Lindsay and Shelley live in Calgary, AB and have two children Jazmyn and Jaylen. They have dedicated themselves to working for LifeFORCE, a Youth Outreach Ministry founded by ACOP. 

LifeFORCE believes in equipping young evangelists to reach the World's Youth. Utilizing dance, drama, skateboarding, media, and other tools, the students of LifeFORCE are given many great opportunities to minister and share the Gospel in the places they are sent.  Please click the LifeFORCE logo for more information about this Ministry. 

 

Levya S. - Israel

Levya is our homegrown missionary to Israel. She was a part of KFGT before God called her to a life of service in Israel. As a Church body, we are so proud to have sent her out as a light to God's chosen people.
